IS YOUR VIDEO CONFERENCING
CAUSING YOU PAIN?
Ever had a video meeting delayed by technical issues?
In a recent survey¹, a whopping 96% (!) of people
answered ‘yes’.
So what’s going on here? Why is it so difficult to
get an enterprise-grade solution that works across
devices and core business apps?
Well, because traditional video conferencing
comes with hardware and systems that are
expensive to install, license and maintain, businesses
often turn to consumer web conferencing solutions
that appear to be cheaper at lower user numbers.
But the costs can quickly spiral out of control,
especially if you want everyone to have access to the
same conferencing solution. Cobbling together a
mixture of web conferencing tools further increases
the confusion.
And it’s not just users who struggle with poorly
designed video conferencing equipment – it means
more tickets for already busy IT teams.
And what about security and compliance issues?
Every conferencing provider will say their solution is
secure, but how will they demonstrate that beyond
the basics, like encryption?
It’s time to bring your business together with
world-class video conferencing
Organisations are increasingly choosing to replace
their traditional conferencing with something that
helps them thrive.
They’re tired of working with a complex web
of services that is; time-consuming, expensive to
manage and frustratingly difficult to use. Unless your
conferencing solution has; integrated provisioning,
automatic monitoring and alerts, automated out-of-
hours updates, and highly reliable infrastructure and
support, it’s probably not the right solution.
See it in action
To truly appreciate the power and simplicity of world-
class video conferencing, you have to see it in action.
So, if your business needs a conferencing solution
that’s intuitively simple to use, works every time and
saves you time and money, visit our website to find
out more. 30-day free trial available for complete
peace of mind.
What happens
when a business
‘gives back’? Bike donation to The Deanery
Graeme Leighfield, MD at
GEL Studios tells us his
business views. We’ve recently had to stand tall and bounce back from theft,
and it’s not an easy thing to do. We really admire the pupil’s
attitude in this case of adversity - and we were only too happy
to present her with a new bike out of respect for her resilience.

Sometimes the little things matter. We saw on Twitter a story
of a student who had her bike stolen on the way to school.
The thing that resonated with us instantly, was the pupil’s
determination to still make her way to school that morning (in
the pouring rain!), despite what had happened.
“I feel that it’s our duty as business
owners to give back where we can
to worthwhile causes in and around
our local community”.
Threshold Housing
We offered our expertise to Threshold and created a
website which would be a valuable marketing tool and
bring them and their supporters’ value - perhaps for
longer than a cash donation.
It not only helps raise awareness for the charity, but
makes things easier for users who want to engage.
This includes making it easy to donate, raise funds
or register for an event. The site also reduces a lot of
admin behind the scenes.
RunVEMBER
Another local cause we were really excited to help support.
Similar to Threshold, we wanted to bring continued value
and help make a difference to the RunVEMBER team and its
supporters.

Again, we reduced the amount of admin behind the scenes, but
also recorded the steps taken by users if they wanted to take
part. This allowed the RunVEMBER team to focus on raising
awareness and hosting its events throughout November.
While working on this project, their 2018 Sleepout
event took place and some of team GEL took part to
show support. This gave us a new level of appreciation
and focus, really helping towards the creation of
something that will hopefully make a big difference to
Threshold.
