Hawker Joinery is ready to soar in 2019 as it gets set to
celebrate its 100th birthday in January.
year for Hawker Joinery as it opens
its new headquarters and sales
office in Queens Parade Place,
Bath. Commercial director Mitchell
Thomas is ready to take the business
on a growth trajectory building the
firm’s reputation into Swindon and
Wiltshire and beyond.
He said: “I’m keen to talk to
anyone in the trade who is looking
to forge a relationship with a high-
quality joinery. Our work speaks for
itself and we go the extra mile to
ensure large contracts are delivered
in time and to an exceptional
standard.”
Hawker Joinery is the oldest
established joinery business in the
area and over the years they have
made everything from wooden
crane cabins for Stothert and Pitt
(one of the finest local engineering
companies) including a wide
selection of handmade windows,
doors, staircases and cabinetry.
The business was established
in 1919 by F.W Hawker who set up
his workshop in Batheaston and it
wasn’t until 2017 that the workshop
was moved to the Vallis Mills
Industrial Estate in Frome.
Over the years the firm has built
strong and lasting relationships
with aspirational home owners,
contractors, architects and
developers. Hawker Joinery has
proudly produced handmade joinery
for the Bath Abbey, The Duchy
of Cornwall, Windsor Castle and
Buckingham Palace.
