Targeting sector growth with latest appointments

Wiltshire law firm, Royds Withy King, has strengthened its business development and marketing team with three senior appointments that will“ increase its profile and revenues through a new industry sector strategy.”
Kevin Peake has joined the firm as director of business development, marketing and communications from Irwin Mitchell, where he was group sales and marketing director. He brings to the firm“ a strong track record” in transforming professional and financial service brands.
His appointment closely follows that of Michael Cracknell as senior business development manager, and Natalie Birrell as head of marketing
Harriet Brooks, 29, from Corsham has joined Systemagic’ s senior team as operations manager. Harriet brings almost 10 years’ experience managing support teams and her role will comprise of managing the busy helpdesk and field technicians as well as ensuring clients receive a consistently excellent service.
Joining Harriet is the company’ s latest helpdesk technician James Bunting, 25, from Atworth. James is an Apple Certified technician who brings over 8 years’ experience in implementing and supporting Apple business solutions. James will be dealing directly with communications. Michael has a 16-year track record in the professional services sector and Natalie, a former journalist, previously led her own PR consultancy advising professional services firms.
Commenting on his appointment, Kevin said that he was“ impressed” by the ambition of Royds Withy King and its future plans.
He explained:“ The legal market continues to change and there is huge potential to grow and be a genuine client-focused provider that can innovate around clients’ changing needs.”

Myddleton & Major announces new associates

Mydlleton & Major continues its upward growth with the promotion of two commercial team members to‘ associate’ status.
The independent, Salisbury-based firm of chartered surveyors and estate agents has named Tim Haine MRICS and Rachael Wythe MRICS in new roles.
Tim Haine works within the commercial management team and has some 18 years’ experience in managing properties across the UK, working first in central London and Southampton, before joining Myddelton & Major.
Chartered surveyor Tim, who lives with his family in Salisbury, also enjoys writing comedy, fast cars and brewing beer.
Rachael Wythe is a member of the commercial agency team working on instructions across Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset and has some 10 years experience.
She joined Myddelton & Major in 2014 and has worked for national firms in Manchester and London.
Chartered surveyor Rachael has a young family but manages to fit in her sporting passions of riding, running and skiing.
