Growth Hubs across England are having a significant positive impact on the take-up of national support programmes, with over half a million small businesses having received support via Growth Hubs from providers. Taking on board feedback from the business community, the Swindon & Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWLEP) has relaunched the Swindon & Wiltshire Growth Hub. With over 140 businesses already part of the community in just 3 months, the Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub is gaining momentum as businesses get registered, profile themselves and collaborate via the Community pages. The Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub is the ‘go to’ gateway for impartial business support and advice, and the online community for businesses in Swindon and Wiltshire. The Growth Hub also provides access to news, updates, events, programmes and funding opportunities for start-up businesses, mature businesses and those looking to grow. Jo Minnaar has recently been appointed as the Growth Hub Manager, “With the Growth Hub acting as a community ‘marketplace’ for local businesses, we see the platform as a place where local businesses can come together not only to promote themselves but gain knowledge and insight from other business support organisations and each other.” “The site has only been live for 3 months and already contains over 400 pieces of informative content which range from factsheets to articles. There have been 1,600 unique visitors and 140 of them have already registered as part of the Growth Hub Community. One of the most important areas of the site for any growth business is the Programmes area which already lists 33 programmes that offer access to business support and potential funding.” Are you in ?
