The website supporting Swindon & Wiltshire’s first technology awards is now live and accepting
entries. The Techie Awards 2018 is a Business Exchange initiative celebrating the innovation and
entrepreneurship of the IT community in Swindon and Wiltshire.
The award scheme is supported by the Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWLEP)
as headline sponsor and the Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Project is also a sponsor. The awards
have been designed to be fully inclusive, with all categories open to one-man-bands to corporations.

It costs £5 for each award category and there’s no limit to the
number of categories a company can enter.
The Business Exchange has brought together
some of Swindon & Wiltshire’s most influential
tech entrepreneurs and business growth partners
to judge the inaugural Techies 2018.
The judges include James Eades, managing
director of Systemagic, Jeff Thomas, serial
investor, entrepreneur and owner of Hartham
Park, Ali Hadavizadeh, program manager for
Farm491 (a space for innovators to grow their
tech businesses), Mirabelle Mack, business growth
officer for Swindon Borough Council and George
Gill, SWLEP board member and commercial
director of GG Media Resources, a Tech Track 100
business.
The award ceremony will be hosted at Hartham
Park, Corsham on Thursday May 10, 2018.
