PIB INSURANCE BROKERS OPEN NEW OFFICE
As one of the fastest growing commercial insurance brokers in the UK, PIB Insurance is creating an
influential team of industry experts in the insurance market, both by recruit ment and acquisition.
The draw being an independent approach to market
placement and a supportive, flexible structure, enabling
its individuals to provide clients with cover that is right for
them and with the correct insurer, adhering to the firms
‘client first’ ethos.
The insurance firm which has offices across the UK
including, London, Birmingham and Manchester has
recently opened a new branch in Bristol, dedicated to
supporting businesses in the south west and along the
M4 corridor.
Heading up the Bristol office is David Wood. David has
over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry and is
part of a team with unrivalled experience and expertise.
The team has grown quickly, recruiting highly experienced
commercial and financial lines brokers, Kieren Windsor
and Kevin Bell, from Aon and Lockton respectively, as well
as Gary Chambers, a recruitment company specialist and
Rupert Dixon, a renewable energy expert.
David Wood said: “The team is building a network of
industry experts, professional partners and key clients,
with a focus on risk management, sharing of information
and business growth. PIB’s structure is well appointed to
support this way of working with the ability to provide
business support via insurance risk transfer products,
compliance, training, business continuity, structure
changes and succession planning.
One area of concern for all businesses currently is data
management and the obligations and issues arising from
it. Whilst much of the current media exposure surrounds
some of the larger names we see on the high street,
this is very much a pan-sector matter and should be
investigated further.
Keep your eyes open for our forthcoming survey,
in which we will be looking to establish how firms in
the region approach, manage and perceive exposure
in this area.”
