Bath & Somerset launch
On September 21, 220 people from across the
South West came together to celebrate the launch
of our new quarterly Bath & Somerset magazine.
The event was held at Bath's prestigious Assembly Rooms and movers and
shakers from across the region descended on the historic venue for a great
night of networking and presentations.
The evening was sponsored by Searcys who provided delicious canapes
and refreshments for guests to enjoy. The night was organised with the
help of Morgan Brinkhurst Consultancy and special guests included the
Mayor and Mayoress of Bath, the Chairman of the Council and Ben
Howlett MP. Anita Jaynes, the magazine's publisher said: "We would like
to thank everyone that attended for making the night such a success
and our valued advertisers for helping us get this project off the ground.
Without you we wouldn’t have landed."

The inaugral BoA
Business Awards
BoA Business, Bradford on Avon's business
networking group hosted their first BoA Business
Awards on Thursday October 13.
Held at St Margaret's Hall, the town's diverse business community gathered
to celebrate. Award categories included Best Customer Service, Best
Creative, Best Independent Shop and Best Manufacturer showcasing the
different industries Bradford on Avon is home to. Andrew Eberlin, chair of
BoA Business said: "We were delighted with the response from businesses,
their customers and the public for participating so enthusiastically in
the first BoA Business Awards. We had over 80 nominations across 14
categories, over 2,500 different people took part and cast over 12,250
votes across the categories. Our aim was to showcase the variety of
predominantly independent businesses in the town and to raise the profile
of our business community. I think we succeeded."

Inspire launched their unique Elite programme in
late October at Wellington Barn, Calne.
The programme which is the first of its kind in the UK has been setup to
help aspiring Wiltshire businesses achieve their goals. Aimed at companies
who have consistently enjoyed growth in the last three years and turning
over in excess of £1 million, the programme offers dedicated peer-to-peer
networking, access to a range of experts, educational speakers and can
open doors to more business opportunites and funding. The programme is
being delivered in association with The Scale up Institute, Enterprise Europe
Network, London International Business Programme and South West
Manufacturing Advisory Service.
