RED group launches YourLawfirmReception with help from new recruit
Highworth based RED group, run by Denis and Karen Thurley have announced the appointment of Sian Swift as business development manager
for their new bespoke law firm service.
YourLawfirmReception offers law firms and solicitors a personalised reception service on an outsourced basis, aiming to not only save costs and time, but ensuring callers are engaged and dealt with in a professional manner by dedicated PAs. YourLawfirmReception is the UK’ s only Solicitors Regulation Authority( SRA) compliant telephone answering service.
Director Karen Thurley said:“ We developed the YourLawfirmReception offering as an offshoot of our main RED Virtual Office brand. There was a clear need in the marketplace with clients coming to us requesting the service.”
Experienced sales and marketing professional Sian Swift brings a wealth of experience to the role. Some of you may recognise her from her days as a Rugby Special presenter on BBC 2 or from her time as marketing manager for Guyers House Hotel. Sian said:“ I’ m very excited to be working with the RED group. They are a long standing company with a great team and many satisfied clients. The new offering I’ m sure, will appeal to law firms who are looking to increase efficiency and save costs in the process. I can’ t wait to get out there and spread the word.”

TWO NEW TEAM MEMBERS JOIN SYSTEMAGIC
New faces Rebecca Land and Rhys King have joined the growing team at Systemagic.
Rebecca( 22), of Oldfield Park, Bath, is the marketing officer, managing the company’ s social media, newsletters and events. It’ s her first job after graduating from the University of Gloucestershire last year and she’ s spent several months travelling in Asia. She’ s a former pupil of Hayesfield Girls School in Bath.
Rebecca said:“ This is a great team to work with. It’ s a brand new role for the business and it’ s exciting to be able to be involved in shaping the marketing activities from the start. No two days are the same so there’ s lots of variety. I enjoy sharing the company’ s news and achievements on a daily basis.”
Two new recruits at CIS
Faringdon based IT firm Computer Information Systems( CIS) has welcomed two new members to the team.
Paul Whelan has joined as one of CIS’ s solution advisors and will be tasked with creating new sales opportunities for the business and John Wealthdale has joined as a senior systems engineer. John will be ensuring that IT projects are kept to time and are on budget.
John has over 13 years experience in technical support working with different businesses in the UK.
CIS have plans for future recruitment drives to help with the constant growth of the business.
Rhys( 19) is the new apprentice at Systemagic – a company known for supporting and nurturing young talent. The company has employed apprentices for the last eight years. Recently Systemagic won the Micro Employer of the Year title in the Somerset Apprenticeship Awards and also won a similar award in the Bristol and Bath area in 2014.
He said:“ So far my apprenticeship has been really enjoyable. Everyone at Systemagic has made me feel comfortable straight away when joining and allowed me to fit in easily. The whole team is always ready to offer their help and guidance.”
Rhys, who lives in Frome, is studying for an Extended Diploma in IT and as well as working at Systemagic, attends regular IT training in Bristol.
