LEGAL NEW MANAGING PARTNER FOR BOWER & BAILEY AS THE FIRM GOES FOR GROWTH 2016 sees a further celebration for Bower & Bailey Solicitors as Simon Smith has been appointed as managing partner of the entire firm. With 129 employees across four offices in Oxford, Swindon, Witney and Banbury the company is looking forward with ambition. Commenting on his new role Simon said: "I am delighted to be taking on the role of managing partner for the firm. Having set up the Swindon office 31 years ago I am looking forward to the challenges that the new role will present.” Bower & Bailey have a long history of outstanding achievement in providing quality legal advice and support for the local business initiatives and community projects. Since its foundation in 1985 in Swindon, Bower & Bailey’s staff have been proud to be a part of this dynamic and highly successful legal firm. Adele Parkinson joins from Reading law firm Field Seymour Park where she specialised in all aspects of residential property. Adele was born and brought up in Swindon. She said: “It is very exciting to be living and working here again. Bower and Bailey have such an excellent reputation in the town, especially in property work and I'm looking forward to developing my career further." “I attribute our staying power in Swindon to the strong relationships that we have built with our clients over the years” Trainee solicitor Kayleigh Stapleton commenced her training contract in February and is currently assisting in the litigation department. Kayleigh joined Bower & Bailey as a conveyancing paralegal in September 2015 following completion of the LPC at the College of Law in Chester. Kayleigh studied Law with German at the University of Sheffield and spent one year studying German Constitutional and Criminal Law at the Universität Regensburg in Bavaria. She has three years’ experience in personal injury from her time as a legal assistant at Camps Solicitors on the Wirral. Kayleigh is due to qualify in October 2017 and is looking forward to specialising post qualification. Tara Aqeel is a para-legal, who graduated in 2011 after studying legal practice at the College of Law in Bristol. Since graduating Tara has worked in compliance for a Lloyd's of London insurance broker and spent 18 months as a conveyancing executive for a local firm. Tara said: "I am very excited to be working for Bower and Bailey, the partners here have a wealth of experience and I am very impressed with how efficient the firm is."
