BUSINESS NEWS Exceptional growth for local IT firm Faringdon based IT firm Computing Information Systems (CIS), which works across the South West, is celebrating substantial growth. The firm which provides disaster recovery services, cloud solutions, data management, IT consulting and IT resource monitoring has grown in size to a 21 strong team. The firm started out in 1989 providing traditional IT support services and has built itself on strong client relationships that have generated steady referrals over the years. CIS has just celebrated supporting one particular client for 20 years. Locally CIS‘s clients include Motaquip and B4 Magazine and they also have a number of clients with a global footprint including St Paul’s Cathedral and Force India F1. In the last two years CIS has diversified to offer a bespoke cloud computing offering and hosts a private cloud in a data centre situated inside an ultra-secure nuclear bunker near Newbury, ensuring businesses are resilient at all times.
