APPOINTED CHIPPENHAM BID APPOINTS NEW DEPUTY CHAIR Chippenham Provider Of Sales And Marketing System Boosts UK Team Ben Gregory, a director at Digiprint, has been appointed the Deputy Chair of the Chippenham Business Improvement District (BID). Mr Gregory will be working closely alongside Chair of the BID Melody Thompson, who is Director of 24-7 Staffing. “I’m delighted to be offered the position of deputy-chair for the Chippenham BID and have been involved with obtaining a BID for Chippenham Town Centre since the beginning,” said Ben Gregory. “Having worked with the Bath BID and experienced the fantastic work and benefits to the local economy there, it was essential that Chippenham got similar investment for quality Town promotions and events. “I feel Chippenham is on the verge of some very exciting developments and as we are the largest town in Wiltshire outside of Swindon, we are set for continued growth and investment. The success of the BID will be the success of Chippenham and its business community.” Key Appointment At Swindon & Wiltshire LEP Debby Skellern is joining the Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWLEP) as the programme manager for Policy. Since completing her MPhil degree in geography; which looked at the formation and location of high technology businesses in Yorkshire and Humberside, Debby has gained 20 years hands-on economic development experience working in both the private and public sector. She is an experienced programme manager with a particular interest in business support and sector development and she joins the SWLEP on secondment from Wiltshire Council where she managed the Economic Growth Team for nine years. As part of her secondment, Debby will build on her research and analysis experience to support the SWLEP and its role in the South West and national LEP networks. Internal Promotion At Front Room Front Room Marketing and Design in Malmesbury has appointed Lindsay Westlake to the board of directors as commercial director. Lindsay, who was the company’s business manager, was promoted by founders Lesley and David Wood. Lesley said: “We are delighted for Lindsay on this well deserved appointment. She has shown huge talent, commitment and determination in helping us meet the needs of our clients and maintain our very high standards.
