How is 2018 treating you? It’ s been a fantastic year so far. We’ ve seen exceptional growth and investment. This summer our team has grown from seven to nine-strong and our office on 4 Colston Avenue( opposite Bristol Hippodrome) had been completely revamped. This is down to organic growth following a busy year of transactions. We anticipate further announcements over the coming months as we continue to recruit talented individuals to meet the demand for our offering
What deals have you been working on?
On our corporate & institutional broking side, our most high profile recent deals include a £ 1.3m placing and open offer for mobile computing solutions firm Touchstar plc, and the completion of a partial offer for waterfront and destination creation specialist Sutton Harbour plc. What has driven your recent successes?
Our team has an exceptional skillset with specialisms in a variety of sectors including engineering, software and energy. We also offer a highly personal and bespoke service, not a one-size-fits-all proposition and take our time to get to know our clients, their needs and what path is best for them. Our location in central Bristol is a great place to be and makes us really accessible. We’ re a short walk from Temple Meads train station and have easy access to the M4 corridor to assist clients in Bath, Swindon and the more rural areas of both Somerset and Wiltshire.
In terms of wealth management, who is your typical client?
The average portfolio size of our client base is £ 350,000 and the majority of our clients’ investments range from £ 250,000- £ 500,000. Although we can offer model portfolios, our holistic wealth management bespoke service which includes
bespoke discretionary portfolio management is our primary focus.
