The Business Exchange Bath & Somerset Issue 8: Summer 2018 | Page 3

CONTENTS NOTE FROM THE EDITOR INSIDE THIS EDITION 4 BUSINESS NEWS I’m not sure where the time has gone, but five years ago this August I incorporated The Business Exchange South West Limited. The summer of 2013 was a busy one, preparing to get my first magazine out for the Swindon & Wiltshire audience and a massive learning curve. Fast forward another three years and in 2016 I launched my second title – The Business Exchange Bath & Somerset. When I set out on my business journey I didn’t know where it would take me, but five years on I’m delighted with our growth and success. I’m proud that my titles are read by the most influential business people in the area and delighted that businesses of all sizes including global players are keen to advertise with us. As the business moves into its fifth year, I can’t be complacent and I’m looking at new initiatives to help both our readers and advertisers connect and grow for the benefit of our local economy. This summer I’m going to be hard at work on this and look forward to revealing some of the changes and improvements to our offering in the Autumn edition. I’m always keen to receive your feedback. Please let me know if there is anything you would like to see in future issues of The Business Exchange.
