Water’s were -17%, so it’s great news they are now both
heading in the right direction.
There is little change in the top ten, but congratulations
go to Independent Vetcare and Mulberry for their huge
increase in profits. Mulberry’s profits were down -294%

win back customers. Following a disastrous move upmarket
in recent years, their efforts to become a more affordable
luxury brand appear to be paying off. As profits rise their
intention is to open more factories in the UK and extend its
digital offering into key international markets.

With Brexit looming and an unsettled government, it
is a challenging environment for businesses helping to
grow our local economy. Championing their successes
is important, as it is their growth which will boost our
productivity and help secure employment opportunities for
our residents and those in the surrounding area.
