Here’ s what they’ re looking for from your entries:“ I will be looking for entrants who are innovating, enriching and caring about their teams, themselves, their communities and their own professional development. Impact does not always mean‘ big’ it can mean‘ powerful’ and‘ helpful’ with a true sense of service. I’ m looking beyond the pure transactional, I’ m looking for those that truly care about the economic health of the area alongside their own health and wealth of their business.” Fiona Scott
“ It is really important to me that the business or charity has thought about what to write and I can see they have paid attention to the criteria for the award. Using very similar text in applications for different awards does not work for me!
“ What does resonate is a sense of passion for the project and a belief in what it is setting out to achieve. Thoroughness and attention to detail are essential to show that commitment. Not every idea has to be innovative in the true sense of the word. A well-developed new application which can demonstrate impact and future ongoing success is a great concept to highlight the power of technology in our region. It is important for applicants to consider the project’ s impact for the region. We are about highlighting the role of SME’ s and charities in showcasing the talent in the region and so, in my mind, applicants need to demonstrate this feature strongly in their submissions.
“ I do wish all applicants the best of luck and thank them for supporting the TBE Awards.” Paddy Bradley MBE
“ From past entrants it’ s great to learn how they’ re continuing to grow and develop their business since the last time we read about them. I’ m excited to be introduced to new entrants too as it’ s a great opportunity to get to know what they do and how they’ ve been thriving. As always, I’ m very keen for evidence and data to back up claims. The strongest entries usually submit plenty of supporting evidence to demonstrate their successes.” James Eades
