Leon Cane
Joined the team as a Stamp Duty Land Tax specialist. Leon has experience of working locally with Deloitte, in all tax and international tax matters and is an expert on corporate finance, particularly corporate rescues and refinancing. He has a wealth of experience in derivatives and loan relationships, having spent seven years on an international bank’ s derivatives desk.
Leon said:“ My professional motivation is meeting client objectives and I enjoy devising innovative contributions to resolve complex issues.”

Michael Bagg
Michael joined from Old Mill and specialises in personal tax planning, particularly in regards to inheritance tax and trusts and estate planning.
Commenting on his new appointment he said:“ I like to build a close working relationship with clients, so that all aspects of their financial and personal affairs can be considered when advising.”

Julian Borley
Julian joins Milsted Langdon with over 20 years’ experience in VAT. He has had a variety of jobs during his career, including working within HMRC itself. This role has given him insight into the mind of VAT inspectors, which has proved useful on a number of occasions.
Julian has specialisms in the charity sector- particularly educational ones and in land property and construction.

On Thursday March 9, the firm held an exclusive seminar for landlords and property owners alongside Thrings law, London & Country and The Apartment Company. It gave attendees the opportunity to meet Milsted Langdon’ s in-house experts, giving key information on tax considerations and opportunities for landlords and property owners. It also addressed burning issues such as marketing and attracting the right tenants, the legal implications of letting and owning property and mortgage advice and options available.
