FIDELIUS GROUP INVEST IN ITS FUTURE
Bath-based Financial services firm Fidelius is celebrating the end of 2022 with an important strategic move , setting the foundations for the coming year and the firm ’ s future growth ambitions . The group has been on a growth trajectory for the last few years . During the 2020 lockdowns , they acquired Somerset-based financial planning firm Chartered Financial Management and Mansfield-based deVere UK .
I ’ ve been CEO of Fidelius for ten years and during that time we ’ ve grown from a team of 15 to 160 people across five locations . We are starting to feel more like a grown-up business that is still entrepreneurial in its outlook . We have a plan in place that will see us continuing to grow both organically and by acquisition over the next few years and will see a doubling of our team numbers and a few more locations .
Our new flagship office in Bath shows our commitment to the city and the business . We have been looking for an ideal space for the last four years and when we heard about the Bath Quays project and the No 1 Quays building , we jumped at the chance . It is a great industrial site which has been regenerated and that makes it an interesting location for our team . The offices are fantastic and the location by the river is superb . When the whole site is finished , I think it will be a real destination for the professional community in Bath .”

Fidelius is situated on the first floor of No . 1 Bath Quays which commands 5,822 sq ft . Bath workplace design and build experts Interaction worked with the Fidelius team to transform the space into a working environment that matches the team ’ s ambition .
The opportunity to build something from scratch has been inspiring . Redesigning our office environment to meet the new needs of our clients and our team , whilst working alongside a fantastic project team at Fidelius and Interaction has been a privilege . The space enables us to welcome our clients into a professional business hub whilst supporting our team in the main office with collaborative working areas , quiet spaces and team booths . We ’ ve invested in new technology which supports all our needs from presentations to clients , to working collaboratively with those working from home .
You never know when doing a project like this how people will feel , but it has been incredible to see our team embracing the new space and working more closely together .

As part of the office move and investment Fidelius has been working on a company-wide cultural project which began with reviewing the firm ’ s purpose , vision and values , in line with company growth . Everyone at Fidelius has been involved in the process from workshops to surveys and even new merchandise .
It ’ s been a really exciting time to take our new vision for Fidelius and reflect that in our office space , with an inviting open environment , collaborative working spaces and a location and design for the future .
