We are also delighted to have Vicki Smith on board. Vicki built her career in leisure and visitor attractions for Merlin Entertainments and is well-known in the city for her previous role as Sales and Marketing Director for Bath Rugby. My background is in finance, accountancy and executive search. Before setting up my own business, Orlik Leon Ltd, I was Chief Operating Officer of Manpower PLC, working on both a national and global level.
We are currently a small but powerful team and plan to employ 14-20 fulltime and part-time employees once the attraction is open. We’ re keen to collaborate with local businesses and are actively looking to build new relationships in the city. If you think you might have services we may be interested in, please get in touch. It could be themed chocolate body parts for our gift shop, or technology to enhance the multi-sensory experience.

WHAT ARE YOUR AMBITIONS
FOR MARY SHELLEY’ S HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN? The horror industry is scarily big business and we have big ambitions to expand the attraction beyond its four walls. We plan to host a series of‘ Monster Balls’ at Halloween each year as well as a number of other themed events. With such a marketable brand there are so many opportunities to be explored. Our spreadsheets with low, medium and high expectations, show that even in the worst possible scenario the concept is profitable, from day one. The reasonable scenario is very healthy, and the best is breathtaking.
The company we’ ve formed, Bath Attractions Ltd, offers HMRC- approved EIS tax benefits( 30 % cashback, plus 0 % Capital Gains Tax).
If you want to join us as a partner, sponsor or investor, now would be a really good time. The opportunity is simply not going to be around for much longer. Would you have invested in the first London Dungeon, before it was snapped up? We’ re 65 % subscribed. Interested? Please get in touch.
