THE NEW AGENCY BUILT FOR
GROWING SMALL BUSINESSES
Digiprint Nettl Bath owner, Ben Gregory, has launched a new
agency, Brand Media, in Wiltshire despite the uncertainty that
continues to threaten the business community.
Ben, who has over 20 years’ experience in running and
servicing small and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs), set up
Brand Media to help local and small businesses in Wiltshire,
Somerset and the surrounding areas who want to raise their
profile, promote their company and compete with larger
organisations for an affordable price.
Stating that “Brand Media was created to fill a void I
discovered when trying to find good quality PR and Marketing
for one of my small businesses. So, I decided to fix this by
setting up an agency that was specifically targeted to help
SMEs compete with online companies and larger nationals.”
“With an ever-increasing emphasis on shopping local,
shopping small and saving the high street, Brand Media are
poised to help small businesses excel with building their
image and promoting their services and products to a local
audience.”
As well as the on-going pandemic, the current recession
now looms over the potential success of local and SMEs.
Ben adds that “this not only gives new avenues to my current
company, but it helps other professionals to gain valuable
and affordable access to PR and Marketing services to
promote their business.”
Brand Media will work with local publications and
continue to grow relationships with a variety of trade press
to get their clients into the media they desire and in front of
their target market.
Having survived the last recession in 2008, Ben adds that
“the companies who succeed after a recession are the ones
shouting the loudest and actually growing their brand to
rapidly scoop up work when things return to normal.”
His first hire for Brand Media was 23-year-old, Sadie
Jones, as his Media Manager. Explaining his choice, he says
“Back in 2002, at the age of 24, I was working for a small
franchise design and print provider who had fallen on tough
times. My director at the time gave me the opportunity to
develop my own print company with his financial backing
that would later become the successful model for all his
businesses.”
“I wanted to replicate this by employing Sadie who,
coincidentally, is nearly the same age that I was back then.
Her dedication to her work was just what I needed to sprout
a new company to life and working alongside someone with
drive and ambition really appealed to me. Giving Sadie the
opportunity to build her own business after being made
redundant and creating more skilled jobs in the future as we
grow really excites me.”
Sadie gained a range of marketing, event and PR
experience when working for well-established companies in
Bath as well as assisting a major London-based influencer
during her time at Bath Spa University. After graduating,
she was hired by one of the UK’s fastest growing PR and
marketing agencies, which is now based in Bath. Here, she
continued to provide a high-quality service for a variety of
both B2B and B2C clients over the years.
She says “I’m really excited to have been given this
opportunity from Ben. I love working with a range of clients
and implementing creative solutions which surpass their
expectations. The best part about this job is being able to
interact with so many different people and learn about their
businesses and the experiences they’ve had.”
She adds “I loved the concept for Brand Media. Our
affiliation with Digiprint Nettl means that we can help
SMEs with multiple elements of their brand and marketing.
Under one roof we can supply full websites and on-going
maintenance, public relations, marketing, SEO optimised
blogs as well as discounted prices on any printing they do
with Digiprint. What’s not to love?”
Through close relationships with local and a variety of
trade press, Brand Media is well equipped to get a range of
SMEs into the media they desire and in front of a growing
active audience.
Ben explains that “If we can help companies to weather
the impact of Coronavirus and the recession and continue to
trade that would be my ultimate goal.”
“Business has been eroded by online only companies,
home businesses and overseas traders so being able to
compete and beat the competition may mean the difference
between accelerating out of the crisis or shutting up shop.”
Brand Media is a PR and Marketing agency based in Wiltshire whose professionals hold over 20 years’ combined experience
covering both B2B and B2C clients. They are looking to help local businesses raise their profile, promote their company and
compete with bigger organisations on an even playing field with full fat PR and Marketing strategies.
It is honest, reliable PR and Marketing - no bull!
