Reopening our city & town cen From Monday 15th June many more shops will be reopening as the Government eases some Covid-19 restrictions. Our priority is to reopen the city centre safely and in a way that promotes confidence in our high streets whilst protecting public health. We are planning for economic renewal in Bath and North East Somerset for the next few weeks, months and longterm beyond 2020. We are here to support the change and can be of direct support to any business that needs it. To enable social distancing, the council will be temporarily closing some streets and widening pavements on others.
