TASTE OF BATH Thank you never tasted so good This summer, foodie gifting business Taste of Bath hosted a special event to thank clients with cracking food, exceptional drinks and fabulous company. The evening was held in the iconic octagon at The Botanist, Milsom Place with a 200-strong invite-only guest list. Arriving at the event, guests walked through a botanical walkway, decorated with bespoke hampers, Bath foodie products and were immersed in a Taste of Bath gastronome experience. Taste of Bath bridges the gap between customers and local artisan food producers. Via its website, you can purchase Bath boxes, Bath crates, Bath hampers and business gifting options, jam-packed with products produced within a 15-mile radius of Bath. On the night, Taste of Bath producers showcased their produce with mini stands, offering delicious tasters whilst chatting all things local. Producers on show included Aluna coconut rum, Bath Gin, Somerset Charcuterie, Meg’s Cottage Fudge and Roundhill Roastery. Celebrating a record-breaking year of 44 THE BUSINESS EXCHANGE 2019 growth, it was more prevalent than ever to raise a glass with clients that contributed to such success. Helen Rich, CEO, Taste of Bath showed her wholehearted gratitude to her clients and what it all means for the 35 local producers they work with. She said, “Tonight is about thanking all our amazing clients who have supported our business growth in the last year. Thank you!” The event was also an opportunity to showcase the work of Taste of Bath’s chosen charity partner, Fareshare South West. The charity saves good food from going to waste and redistributes it around the South West to charities, schools and community groups, who turn it into meals for vulnerable people. In the last year, Taste of Bath has provided 3000 meals for those in need. Helen Rich, CEO, Taste of Bath (front and centre) with the Taste of Bath producers.
