Keep an eye on the festival website for the latest release of events and make sure you book your early bird ticket, on sale from 22nd August. www.bathdigitalfestival.co.uk BUSINESSES BACK BATH FESTIVAL The biggest names in children’s books, along with a host of well-known faces from TV, are coming to Bath this autumn thanks to the support of the city’s business community. The festival will feature Harry Hill, Jacqueline Wilson, David Baddiel, Clare Balding, Sophie Dahl, Greg James and Chris Smith, Cressida Cowell, Malorie Blackman, Michael Rosen, McFly’s Dougie Poynter, Bryony Gordon and many more. Bath Children’s Literature Festival has continued to grow and is now Europe’s largest dedicated children’s literature festival. Ian Stockley, CEO of Bath Festivals said, “It’s always an exciting time when the festival is on, bringing thousands of young people into the city and seeing writers reach out and share their ideas with curious minds. The children’s literature festival is an inclusive event and we’re very pleased and proud once again to involve children from more than 20 schools in the region to give them a life-enriching experience they’ll never forget.” Organisers say they couldn’t do it without the support of partners across the city. Bath Festivals is a charity which works in collaboration with Bath Spa University, which is its creative partner again this year, and its supporters and sponsors, including, Novia, SouthGate, Bath BID, Norland Nannies, Woolley Grange Hotel, Royal High School, Kingswood School and Carousel magazine.
