BATH’S HISTORIC BUSINESS VENUES
An inspiring location enhances any business event and
Bath’s Historic Venues’ world-renowned spaces certainly
top the polls for atmosphere. They are, after all, the
venues for which this beautiful city is so famous.
Situated at the heart of the World Heritage
site, Bath’s Historic Venues boast some of
the city’s finest heritage architecture, ranging
from the ancient Roman Baths & Georgian
Pump Room to the magnificent Assembly
Rooms which were declared as the ‘finest
in the Land’ when they were first opened
in 1791. Ancient and beautifully preserved
they may be, but did you know that a busy
schedule of modern business events take
place all year round in these venues?
The Roman Baths & Pump Room won
a Gold award for the Venue and Business
Tourism in the Bristol, Bath and Somerset
Tourism Awards 2017. When the bustling
museum has closed, the doors open for
gala dinners, awards ceremonies, concerts
and parties. Guests can enjoy a glass of
champagne on the 2000 year old paving
surrounding the atmospheric Roman Baths
before making their way to the Pump Room,
once frequented by Jane Austen, to feast
on delicious food prepared by esteemed
caterers Searcys. Smaller rooms are
also available and are perfect for smaller
business breakfasts or meetings.
The Assembly Rooms is Bath’s most
adaptable venue space, with a beautifully
preserved Georgian interior and a capacity
of 500. Four interconnecting rooms give
plenty of scope for a conference, exhibition or
awards ceremony and there is a small south
facing garden which is perfect for a drinks
reception. AV is top notch, free WiFi available
and, although bathed in natural light, the
venue has full blackout facilities.
