The Buck/Cardinal Club August 2014 | Page 2

Dear Friends,

I am pleased to welcome two new members to the Stanford Athletics annual giving team: Matt Wittig and Jenna Rankin. Both are joining us as assistant directors for annual giving. Matt and Jenna bring a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge with them, and I know I speak for our entire department when I say that we are thrilled to have them on board.

As Stanford’s fiscal year end approaches on August 31, I would like to thank everyone once again for supporting the Buck/Cardinal Club and Stanford’s student-athletes in 2013–14. It has been a fantastic year on the Farm, highlighted by a number of exciting athletic and academic accomplishments. If you have not had the opportunity to renew your gift, I encourage you to do so by visiting giving.stanford.edu before the August 31 deadline.

Here’s to another exceptional year for Stanford Athletics!

Cheers and Go Cardinal!

The Lopez twins had the ability to sketch Picasso-like drawings on tennis shoes, read a comic book, and cruise into a double-double all within the span of a game day. Drew Shiller, ’09, MA ’10, was a walking ESPN ticker and DaVeed Dildy, ’10, was a sitcom on legs. I have never been around such a wide range of personalities, yet in all honesty, I’ve never been around a smarter or more ambitious bunch.... click here to continue reading
