Words to me are the best gifts that can be exchanged, the most valuable objects friends can cherish for years. They say so much, they express exactly what you feel and want to say! (“Exactly” : now there is a word that creates problems for many of our youngsters who have grown up on a steady diet of French fries, litres of Coke, and images from across oceans that they have never crossed in their lives!) Our youngsters today use words lightly, just as they use up data bytes paid for by parents! Words seem to have lost their import, their weightage, their immediacy!
