1 So tell us about yourself? The man, the myth, the legend! No, I’m just kidding, I’m Rickie DH, when I was 15 I somehow managed to blagg my way on to the decks at a dirty club in my hometown Leeds and I’ve never looked back since , now I hold residency at the legendary Mint Club and Mint Warehouse, which is well known as one of the most cutting edge and forefront clubbing brands in the UK, I couldn’t ask for a better residency!, I’ve made several appearances overseas in Ibiza and beyond 2 What are 5 tracks your enjoying playing out at the moment? Five Tracks I enjoy playing out at the moment are: wAFF Connected Denney Low Frequency Dale Howard Intervention (Rickie DH Private Edit) Dark Monks Insane (Rickie DH Private Edit) C-RO Love Sensation 4 Any releases or anything in the pipeline? Very exciting times at the moment as I’ve moved a few things around lifestyle-wise which means I finally have time free for the studio! So 2015’s the year I’m able to push things out on the production front and get them releases out on the circuit!. www.facebook.com/rickiedh including boat parties, beach parties, and proud to have played at some of the biggest nightclubs including worlds #1 SuperClub Space. Every year offers a new step forward, I play alongside world renowned DJ’s on a regular basis which is a healthy platform to work from as it makes for pushing the boundaries with my performances and manipulating music to crowds which is what people say I’m known for today! 3 You’ve supported a great selection of djs in the past few months, what would you say the best gig you’ve played? There’s a few that stick out, The first boat party I played on in Ibiza was unreal, that was probably the show that boosted my career very quickly, but Mint Festival 2014 has to be the be the most spectacular gig I’ve played, SecondCity turned up late and it meant we had the stage for an extra 3 hours! thousands were crammed into our Prism arena and the atmosphere was on another level! 5 What was the first record you can remember buying? It was a white label remix of Inner City - ‘Good Life’, the start of my ‘must spend all my work wages on records religiously’ spree!. www.soundcloud.com/rickie-dh www.facebook.com/PrismLeedsRickie-DH
