NSZ Our Motherland, Croatia was the victim of a war of aggression from the Turks. We experienced many victories but also defeats. I


made my name when I led the heroic defence of Siget in Hungary from attacks by the Turkish army. It was a glorious time, I was honoured to lead two and a half thousand heroes for a month r esisting a much larger Turkish army led by Sulejman Veličanstveni

himself. We suffered heavy casualties , but when they have lost the commander we ripped the heart out of their spirit and I became the saviour of Siget. I suppose now I am one of the most important people in Europe

The Siege of Szigetvár

The Siege of Szigetvár was a siege of the fortress of Szigetvár , that blocked Suleiman's line of advance towards Vienna . The battle was fought between the defending forces of theHabsburg Monarchy under the leadership of Nikola Šubić Zrinski, and the invading Ottoman army under the nominal command of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent
