cross-curricular approach

The first thing to do is to choose the topic with the other subject teachers in order to share as much information as possible about the work and the different tasks the students have to fulfil, tasks that can be defined in a planning form .

Research, is developed by the students who work in groups so that each group is responsible for a different part of the project. Students use reference books, websites, dictionaries and maps.

Once completed the project, students display the final product to an audience of teachers and students of the institute. Obviously, students will be prepared to give any necessary explanation regarding the exhibition.

The cross-curricular approach aims at going beyond the traditional idea of teaching in a solipsistic way. As a consequence, teachers are encouraged to collaborate in order to promote professional development through reflection and teamwork. When teaching through a cross-curricular approach three stages are taken into consideration:
