The 1st of January 1972 the Norwegians started selling TVs that was able to show colour. This is very uncommon since most Norwegian citizens, originally didn’t want it. They believed that the coloured screens would make people more addicted to the TV. The same day, the Norwegians officially started to air in colour, which was a much more pleasant experience than the
absurd black and white screens.
