SLOVENIAN LACE-MAKING
Lace-making in the Slovenian town of Idirja has put Slovenia on the map. With Janez Vajkard Valvasor talking about it in his famous book, 'The Glory of the Duchy of Carniola' (1689), the handicraft is quickly spreading to other Slovenian regions.
