Power supply
To make the power supply we used a 12 voltage regulator, a breadboard, potential divider, different wires & resistors. The schematics on the bottom are almost the same as the one we used in our project. The whole point of the breadboard was to control the voltage of the laser pointer.
The output was adjusted by using a potential divider. In our case, the voltage was 1.15V and the current was 0.03A
We built the power supply using the bread board and measuring the output voltage.
We had to make a variable power supply because we did not know the voltage needed for the coil.
