FAMILY

MINISTRY

GOD NEVER INTENDED FOR YOU TO DO IT ALONE - HE ALSO NEVER INTENDED FOR YOU TO PASS IT ON.

Deut. 6:6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

For your PreTeen (PT) to make it through these next two years prepared and ready for bigger challenges we need to help them through a barrage of changes that they are experiencing and move towards embracing and living out a faith that is theirs.

Red + Yellow= Orange

Here at B45 we are here to equip you and your PT to grow in Christ and become the Disciple Makers you were designed to be.

So Let's get started by getting on the same page!

You are the Red. We are the Yellow and together we are producing Orange!

Red stands for the loving guidance and direction that only you can give as a parent. Yellow stands for God's Word and the guidance we bring to your students during Bible Studies and events.

In order to produce Orange we have to have the same game plan, the same language, and a echo each other's direction in your PT's life.

In the pages to follow we will spell out our Our Vision / Goals / Strategy. As well some great thoughts on understanding these PreTeen years. We hope you enjoy, learn a few things, and it will spark some thoughts that you can teach us.

PT only

I have learned over the years that as a parent I am not as smart as I thought I was... Some of this is true but all of the sudden I went from kids saying I was the smartest to "You don't know anything!"

So we will have some events where we give you a break from your PT and not to replace you but to connect with them in a different way.

One of the smartest things I ever did was allow Significant and Godly influences into my kids lives to reemphasis what I was already trying to teach them.

Parents

only

We also want to minister just to you as parents so there will be times that we get together to laugh at our experiences and to ask questions, hopefully get answers, and to pray and guide each other to be the best parents we can possibly be!

More than anything we want to get to know you and your family! Not one of us is alike or do we all have the same views, traditions, or values.

However, we are all Christ followers and hopefully we can agree on letting the Bible guide us as we grow in Christ together!

STRAIGHT FROM THE BIBLE...
