Three awards were presented by Dr . Gary Kalkut , Senior Vice President for Network Integration and Associate Chief Clinical Officer , Dr . Margaret Mason , Vice President and Senior Administrator , and Dr . Martin Lieberman , Vice President , Graduate Dental Education , during the Winter Masquerade Ball .
Congratulations to Dr . Linda Kotmel , Senior Associate Director , East Zone , recipient of The Demby Award for her leadership , innovation , vision , and compassion in providing care to the underserved in a teaching environment . " Your undimming vision is an inspiration to your colleagues , residents and staff ." In addition to Drs . Kalkut , Mason , and Lieberman , the award was presented by Dr . Anna D ' Emilio , Vice President and Program Director , Advanced Education in General Dentistry , and Dr . Neal Demby , Senior Advisor for Graduate Dental Education , whom the award is named after .
Dr . Addison Flores , Associate Director , Puerto Rico , was honored for his dedication to eliminating health disparities , his commitment to dental education , service to the most vulnerable and his mentorship to dental professionals .
Dr . Sonia Kohli , Program Faculty in Brooklyn , NY , was recognized for her dedication to eliminating health disparities , her commitment to dental education , service to the most vulnerable and her mentorship to dental professionals .
