„Schlank und fit“ was a Comenius project in the years 2010-2012. Both teachers and students
actively took part in its activities with great interest and engagement. The topic touches
important issues of people in today’s world, who live actively and too fast, have too little time
for siutable eating or active pastime in the fresh air. More and more people prefer eating fast
food to preparing their own meals from fresh, wholesome products. The main activities were:
international cookery book, preparing questionaire on healthy lifestyle and its analysis in
comparison with 4 students’s communities from 4 countries, excursions, lectures,
presentations, competitions ond other actions within schools promoting a healthy lifestyle.
At schools various board bulletins with relevant information on the project, on partner countries
and on the healthy lifestyle were displayed. Students got to know students from other countries
through E-Journals. They introduced themselves and wrote articles in English and German.
Experts were invited to give extra lectures to the students. The nutritionist talked about the
proper eating system, the beautitian presented the influence of diets on our skin, complexion
and appaerance, a sport champion told students about her experiences with sport and
practically taught some new physical exercises to get slim and fit, we took part in the „Day of
