Top tip 1. Flawless skin

To have flawless looking make up on your wedding day, you need to have healthy, well looked after skin. Start a skincare routine at least six months prior to your wedding to reduce breakouts, lighten dark spots and minimise fine lines.

Cleanse, tone and moisturise twice daily without fail. This will keep your skin glowing and youthful. A clean and dirt-free face will help to keep your pores open. This will help your skin to breathe better. Always follow ucleansing with toning to help tighten the pores.

Lastly, moisturising the face helps to lock in moisture into the pores. This will keep your skin soft and supple. Six days before the wedding is a good time to have a full facial. A facial will guarantee a healthy, vibrant complexion in time for your wedding. Drinking lots of water helps to detoxify the skin, giving you an amazing glow.

Use a quality, gentle exfoliator to help shed dull, dead skin at least twice a week to keep the skin fresh and smooth.

In those final days before the wedding, stay away from salt, alcohol and carbonated drinks.

Top tip 2. White smile

A pearly white grin is essential for your wedding pictures, so get your teeth in top shape by visiting your dentist for a professional laser whitening treatment. The best time to get your teeth whitened is 10 days before the wedding, to allow for some time to pass in case there is any post treatment sensitivity. After whitening avoid dark drinks like coffee, red wine and cola.

To help whiten teeth naturally rub teeth with

strawberries as it is natural whitener and then rinse with cool water. The perfect white teeth should be behind perfect soft and moisturised lips.

To prevent dry lips, gently massage your lips with a wet toothbrush to get rid of dry skin. Afterwards apply an extra dose of honey at night before going to bed so that the honey can work while you sleep.

Top tip 3. Healthy and shiny hair.

Two weeks before the wedding is the perfect time to book your final trim and any necessary colour touch-ups. Have your haircut done before the big day to prevent split ends and so it can settle down.

If your hair is coloured, go and have a gloss treatment put on just before the big day for shine. To ensure beautiful bridal hair, make sure you pre-plan. Don’t wash your hair an hour before your hairdresser arrives, wash it the night before. Have regular conditioning treatments for a couple of months beforehand so your hair is in top condition on the day.

For home treatment mix castor oil, coconut oil, olive oil and black seed oil to your hair once a week, leave for as long as possible and then rinse. It is just the perfect treatment for your hair. Olive oil and coconut oil will moisturise your hair while castor and black seed oil will stop your hair from falling and will help regrow new healthy hair.

Do not apply this treatment just before your wedding. To keep your hair shiny, after every wash apply lemon juice from one freshly squeezed lemon mixed with 0,5l of cool water to your hair.
