Gone, but never forgotten...
Many
people
will have
heard of sadly lost relatives,
friends to the nasty disease
cancer. Unfortunately James
Curtis, the brother of Grimsby
Borough Co-Manager Daniel
Barrett lost his wife
Leanne Curtis a few
months ago to breast
cancer, writes Chris
Coy.
It’s been a really hard
time for the family to
come to terms with but
James and his two
children Freddie and
Georgia have been really
strong and dedicated to
raising money for the
Pink Rose Suite at the
Dianna princess of wales
Hospital in memory of
Leanne for
their manner in which
they cared for Leanne whilst
she was battling the disease.
James said “I feel it’s time to
give them something back
because they don’t get
recognised enough for what
they do”.
Leanne was only 30 years old
when she sadly passed away
and was a hair stylist at Snip-Its
Hair & Beauty salon.
When James was thinking of
ideas on how he could raise
money for The Pink Rose Suite
