What does that mean?
It means that, instead of the books being shelved according to the alphabetical order of the author's surname, the books have been separated first according to their genre (the type or style of book)and then by the alphabetical order of the author's surname.
Why have we done this?
It will be a lot easier for you to find books to read according to their genre than by trying to remember author surnames. We also think you'll discover more great reads related to your particular favourite genre as you search the shelves.
