The Boohoo Insider | Page 14

[Type text] Boohoo is a solely online business, meaning it has no bricks and mortar stores. This differs from John Lewis as they have bricks as well as clicks. Although it is still a business they have to work things around the fact they are only based online. Therefor they wouldn’t have staff such as ‘area managers’ as there are no dedicated areas for them to do so. Although John Lewis is the company’s official founder of the company, it is a partnership. Meaning all the staffs involved in the business are a part of it. This means everyone who works for John Lewis is a shareholder in the business, therefor technically each member of staff is an ‘’owner’’.
