Meet Security

How do you start your day?
After a good night’s rest, I wake up and get ready for
work.
How long have you been working here?
I arrived here in February 2012 when DynCorp took over
the [security] contract.

What do you do here at Camp Bondsteel?
I work as an Armed Guard for the base. I get assigned to
different duties at the gates or Force Protection
Operation Center.
How do you start your day?
I start my day at 0545hrs, I say my morning prayers, tidy my
room and take a shower. I check my e-mail. I also spend
some time talking to my family via Skype or the land line
while I get ready for work. I leave my room to begin my day
at 0650.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
To do my part in the security of the base.
How long have you been working here?
I started working here at Bondsteel Feb. 22, 2013.

Nope, none.
What do you do here at Camp Bondsteel?
My job description requires that I do different assignments
according to the schedule assigned to me by my supervisor.
I am a member of DynCorp International Force Protection
that provides first line security to ensure safe and secure
environment for MNBG-E KFOR at Camp Bondsteel to
enable them conduct missions from Camp Bondsteel.
What do you do in your down time?
I either go running or to the gym, or out to Ferizaj for
dinner and cafe with friends.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is having the opportunity
to interact with people from different ethnicities and cultural
backgrounds.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Arizona, but reside in Nevada.
