“Yes, but it needs something to defend itself with, and
something to be able to get food for itself. It is designed to live in
the deep oceans, like the ones that you have on your world,” said
Huracán.
“Could you put it on our world?” Viviana asked.
“Would you like that to happen? Which ocean would you put
it in, as you have several?” asked Huracán.
Viviana thought hard before answering, “I would like for you
to put that animal in the water close to where we were camped
before we came here. That way, my father could be the first to
discover the new animal. He could name it after me.”
“I see why you were chosen. You are very smart. Do you
study hard in school?” Huracán asked.
“Oh yes. I like to learn new ideas. It can be fun,” Viviana
said.
“I will see to it that you will always be able to come see me.
Maybe I, too, can learn from you,” said Huracán. He stretched
out his hand, and touched Viviana. There was a quick surge of
light that passed between them.
“Look, Bardala, look at me!” Jonathan said as he floated two
feet above the stone floor. “All I did was to think about floating
upward, and now, look at me! What else can I do?”
