JUAN FRANCISCO BLANCO
They were ready to ride down the street when two men ran
out of the front building of the auction yelling at the top of their
lungs. “You there! Hey you! The one with the big stick...”
Tital turned and looked at the men who probably wanted to
stop him from taking all the horses.
“Yeah, you! Stop! What do you think you’re doing with OUR
livestock?” the taller of the men yelled, as Tital’s crew was ready
to ride down the street.
Tital pointed the staff at the two men, and its Otherwordly
power took hold, and as they ran forward, the shorter of the men
yelled out, “How can we be of service to you? We want to help
you. Please let us help!”
Then the taller man yelled out, “We’ll get the gates opened
for you. Bring the horses on.”
Tital said, as he started riding down the gravel road, “All they
needed was a little, gentle persuasion.” He looked over his
shoulder to see the two men, now willing to help, fight over who
was going to help Lena open the first gate.
Down the straight gravel road was a large, open barn full of
alfalfa hay and grain for the penned horses all standing in corrals
next to it. The road was a straight shot back to Jonathan’s
position, so Tital stationed Viviana, Moka and Eegh at the corner
of the road to keep the horses all headed Jonathan’s way. Then,
the rest of the crew went to work opening all the steel pens up.
After five hundred horses and burros were on the road, Tital sent
one of the crew to keep them pushed forward.
“When you get back to Jonathan’s position, levitate across
the fence and come back to help us here,” Tital told each one of
the crew. It took the crew almost one and a half hours to empty
every pen, and drive all the animals to the bridge Portal door.
