clear path to get through. Now go!”
“We’re traveling at two hundred and forty kilometers per
hour,” Tital yelled through the wind.
“So, what’s the problem?” Ek Chuah asked in a calm voice.
“Trust me; you can float along at this speed. Now, go before we
have to slow down.”
Tital reached out of the window and reached up, finding little
to hold on to.
“Concentrate on your special ability to float,” Ek Chuah
yelled.
Tital swallowed hard, and pushed himself out. He was glad
to see his ability to float presented no problems. He used his
powers to float and move himself to be directly above the cab of
the speeding truck. In no time at all, Tital sat on top of the Ford
truck’s cab as though he had been superglued to it. He could see
up ahead for about four kilometers that traffic was starting to
back up behind the jackknifed big truck.
“Hand me my Staff of Power,” Tital yelled to his crew below.
Fernándo cut the back tie that held the staff, while Ek Chuah cut
the rope in front. With his right hand on the steering wheel Ek
Chuah grabbed the staff and levitated it with his left hand all the
way up to Tital’s waiting hands.
“Now, gently sweep the traffic to the side of the road. Just
concentrate as to what you want the staff to do for you,” Ek
Chuah yelled out from below. “We’re getting close!”
Tital pointed the staff ahead towards the stopped traffic and
moved the staff to the right. Ahead, the stopped cars all began
