climbing the face of the cliff to help save their companions. Lena
maneuvered her Gigantoraptor to fly out in front of the cliff face
where Jonathan could easily pick off the men and freeze their
movements. One-by-one he levitated each warrior up the cliff to
the waiting crew members. Bardala and Viviana then controlled
the warriors, holding each upside down and unable to move, or
to fight. Within thirty minutes this part of the raid by Tital’s crew
was a complete success.
“Great team work!” Tital exclaimed as he finished tying up
the last warrior. “There are only five more to go.”
“Their camp cannot be too far away, since they were on foot.
However, we are going to have to split our forces. Jonathan and
Lena need to stay here and keep control of our captives. No one
should be able to escape,” Bardala said while getting ready to
mount her Gigantoraptor.
“It won’t take you more than an hour to capture the other
five warriors. We’ll watch them. I can float Lena down to the
stream running through the valley for some water. The warriors
look like they are under a lot of stress. I will build a bubble
around the warriors to insure they stay with us,” Jonathan said as
he picked up one of the wooden spears.
“Stay in touch with your radios,” Lena said while the rest of
the crew prepared for flight. “Moka and Eegh will stay and help
us.”
The three Gigantoraptors flapped their skin-covered wings
and were airborne. They headed for the north coast looking for a
campfire’s smoke. Again, Tital’s crew had the advantage; they
would be in range to use their special powers before the Atoo
warriors realized they were the hunted. There was not much
