173 THE BLUE FEATHER “In this tall grass,” Jonathan said, “you need to keep your eyes open. Watch Brilloso, as he will alert us to trouble.” Just as he finished speaking, Brilloso began to growl. “RrrrRRRAFFFF! ARRRRRRAFFFF! RRRRRRRRRRR!” “Look alive!” yelled Ronú, notching his longbow, “There’s something out to our left! I can’t see! The grass is too tall!” exclaimed Kuó, as he readied his Barnett crossbow. Instantly, Jonathan knew the answer to this problem. He levitated himself, Kuó, and Ronú up in the air, a full seven meters off the ground. “This is awesome! Now, I can see everything. But there are hundreds of them in the grass. What are they?” Kuó yelled happily, while floating around. Jonathan, in a precautionary move, also levitated Brilloso up to their height, before saying, “Baby Raptors!” Meanwhile Tital looked up as Mahucutah approached from the south, saying, “The Gigantoraptors are everywhere. I saw one group in which I counted seventy-two of them. And I saw three more groups with only twenty to thirty of them. I saw forty or more nests, with groups of twelve to sixteen eggs in each nest. There were groups of Borza roaming around also.” “The computer had only about twenty Gigantoraptors as a species on this island. Where did they all come from?” Tital said, while he fanned the small fire he had started. “GIGO, pure GIGO. That’s my opinion. No one took into account how prolific the Gigantoraptors can be with no other creatures above them in the local food chain. Here are some more arrows. I would suggest you elevate everyone here like Jonathan has done out there in the field,” Mahucutah said.
