THE BLUE FEATHER
“Just something that my mother used to say. You see, the
horses are not going to be in one or two large groups. They are
going to be scattered over several western states in many
groups. They have herds in Nevada, California, Utah, Wyoming,
and Oregon,” Bardala said, raking her hands through her long
hair, and then adding, “We are going to need some powerful
help, right?”
“Oh, now I get your point. We will need the Spirits’ help,
because we have to move all these different herds close to the
door of the nearest portal to them,” said Tital, realizing he would
also need manpower as well for his plan to work.
“That could be a big problem. How far will we have to move
the horses? It could be what?...a thousand miles? That’s going
to take a long time,” Bardala said, as she thought of Viviana and
Jonathan.
“Whatever it takes, nobody said anything would be easy, did
they?”
“All we know about is the one portal we entered into in the
city of Tulúm, back on Earth. Look at Vivia. There are many
portals that the Spirits have here. There also may be more
portals on Earth. Zotz will know of them,” said Bardala, as she
finished eating.
“But he is watching over the Almaya with Mahucutah.”
“There is Ah Chun Caan. He could try to help us. Let’s call
him,” she said.
“Hold my hands,” said Tital, as he held his out to her.
