9 . TRAVEL : Many of us talk about the excitement and fun of traveling and wish we could do more . As a dancer though , travel can take on a different tone . Be aware that travel for dance work is very different from travelling to the Bahamas for a beach vacation . Know ahead of time if you are cut out for dancing while jet lagged , feeling lonely in a strange country in a damp hotel room , struggling with language and money changes , changes in diet , cultural faux pas , feeling cold , feeling hungry , or maybe even feeling sick ! For many established dancers , travel is an integral part of their success , but find it very challenging .
10 . DANCE : Finally , in order to move on to the next level , we must assume you can dance . Is your dance extra
special , unique ? Do you bring something different to the stage ? Natural talent and a trained skill level is a given . Hone your skills and move forward into the spotlight . Always continue to enjoy the fun and challenges of this beautiful dance !
