We ’ re so excited to see that the world of dance “ in person ” is opening up a little bit . And the event photos are back ! We ’ ve missed your faces , and we ’ ve missed seeing the wonderful Event Reviews our photographers so generously share . We are always delighted to focus on your events and photos … our hearts are with you always . We were ecstatic to see your events and to be publishing all the wonderful photos of your performers in a few in-person photo event reviews . Can ’ t wait for the glorious return of EVERYONE .

Our Cover this issue is the original , beautiful , and continuously creating Kaeshi Chai of Bellyqueen . She ’ s an exquisite performer , a warm and loving instructor . We ’ re so happy to always welcome her to our events as she ’ s one of our favorites – she ’ s so supportive , kind , and knowledgeable , and a joy to work and be with .
Due to unforeseen life happenings , we are missing some of our wonderful writers this issue , but we are thrilled for the support by our additional , always appreciated , esteemed contributing and staff writers , and always love to welcome new writers : Prepare Smart for Your Performance : Nutrition and Hydration by Stasha Vlasuk has wonderful suggestions for self-care . Ma * Shuqa Mira Murjan gives you much-needed core information in Seven Core Strengthening Floor Exercise with photos by Carl Sermon . We are missing Amaya in this issue , but it was magical having her gorgeousness at Yaa Halla , Y ’ all after all – she looked wonderful . We ’ re still sending prayers , love and hugs for quick healing for her and Pete . AND she ’ s back to teaching and traveling !! And we ’ ll be excited to have Fahtiem writing again .
Don ’ t forget , let ’ s continue to help keep those sensational Vendors in business , who create , advertise , stock and offer music , instruments , and so many costumes that make it possible for us to look and sound sensational . We enjoyed shopping with many of our favorites at Yaa Halla , Y ’ all 2021 – traveling is still difficult so we were truly grateful to the Vendor Team who was able to step up to the challenge – it was a special and joyous time .
