and entertaining. It was also an excellent counterpart to her more somber performance earlier in the show. executed, both being telltale signs of a highly trained and talented dancer. Some other performances I enjoyed included Serena Spears, whose training in African and Latin dance forms shine through in her athletic, high energy performance. Bevin Victoria was also entertaining with her sharp movements and precise arms. This year’s Massive Spectacular was a stunning show of performance, skill, and artistic vision. The costumes, the music, and dances came together perfectly on this night of artistic celebration. Quality had the rare pleasure of melding with quantity throughout the show! Brenna brought a lot of emotion and nostalgia to her performance done to Michael Jackson’s iconic song Human Nature. With theatrical movements, pop-locking isolations, and shiny hammer pants, this Brooklynite truly brought her beautiful narrative dance style to the Spectacular stage. Her poignant choreography was emotional and left me wanting more. My favorite had to be Heather LaBonte. With her fluidity and grace of movement, Heather truly mesmerized me with her performance. Her moves were clean and precisely CAMERON TAYLOR Cameron Taylor has been a member of the Las Vegas dance community since 2000. She has studied with such instructors as Tsikki Thau, Linn Smith, and Raven Sumner. She was also part of the Kumuda Tribal student troupe as well as the Steel City Bhangra competitive dance team. She’s trained in the styles of traditional Egyptian and American Tribal Style. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Studio Arts. Jill Parker
