It starts with a solo tabla fast maksoum . The singer is singing to the tabla and says , “ We should listen to its acoustic sound , and stay up till morning singing and dancing to the beautiful sound of the tabla ”. Listen to the beautiful Kawala instrument playing questions and answers with the strings . Listen to the female singer and match her musicality and playfulness – you can hear the questions “ question , what ? Leh , no never mind ”. This is a classic fast song with a tabla player for Baladi dancing in a galabeya .
A dramatic opening into quick percussion with the opportunity to perform movements accented with tiny shimmies and body undulations and elevations that mirror the melody . Nai section with a fast tempo provides a nice interlude . Dance with dynamic presence and musicality – timing your movements to match the singer , performing larger and controlled movements when the vocals are louder . Love the opportunity to dance and mirror the nai passages with musicality and feeling .
