3 . They challenge themselves . Great leaders are never satisfied , no matter their achievement level . Self-competition is how they grow . These leaders are always issuing a challenge to themselves . They do so to expand skills and knowledge . Satisfaction is a new posture for the growth-oriented leader . They don ’ t back away from a challenge but embrace the opportunity to learn and implement a solution . Recall the challenges you encountered as you began to develop your professional performance persona and demeanor . Challenge yourself to find ways to assist students with the challenges they face as they learn and achieve their performance persona .
4 . They don ’ t follow . Yes , all leaders will sometimes be a follower . But leaders enjoy being at the front of the line . They are ready to face their challenges head-on and move their followers forward . Their comfort level and confidence assists and leads others towards
Mahmoud Reda a goal . Actions by the leader help to create possibilities for personal and organizational success for the people they serve . Leaders don ’ t like to follow the “ tried and true ” because they see the potential for possibilities , especially if they see an opportunity to improve something or solve a problem . We must remember to always be both a leader and a follower by being open to listening to others . Only then are we open to challenges , changing situations , and prepared to continually evolve for success . At least in our democracy , the definition of leadership is a reality that should and must involve the good of the people . In this same process , the leadership of teaching dancers , and developing dance troupes to create beauty and great performances - dance teachers and professionals have a responsibility to “ lead and follow ”.
5 . They solve significant problems . Leaders welcome challenges ( problems ). They get energized when they resolve substantial issues in the workplace .

Great leaders include the most challenging obstacles . They become like a battering ram and bulldoze over problems . Outstanding problemsolving leaders knife their way towards the goal line . We must also know and understand that problem solving doesn ’ t mean taking over and solving others ’ trouble without them . The best learning and problem resolution happens when you coordinate the problem solving together .
6 . They inspire with a vision . The leader brings forth the grand idea of what can be . Then they do work getting the concept into reality . Their vision inspires the team to outstanding accomplishments . The big picture and the buy-in by others of the idea is their inspiration . They bring excitement and energy with their vision of greatness . Exceptional leaders know how to pull greatness from those following their inspirational dream . In
